This page explains what Sonaris collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we keep the data short.
What we collect
- Orders: your email, name, the product, the amount and the order status. Polar, our payment provider, sends us this after a purchase.
- Payment details: never. Card numbers go to Polar and its payment processor (Stripe). We only see that a payment succeeded.
- Login: your email and the time of each login link. We use no passwords.
- Service briefs: what you type into the brief form.
- Analytics: if enabled, the Meta Pixel records page views and purchases so our Instagram and Facebook ads can measure results. You can block it with an ad blocker or browser setting.
Why we use it
- To deliver what you bought and show it on your account page.
- To send you receipts, login links and replies to your brief.
- To handle refunds, disputes and support.
- To measure which ads bring customers.
We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
Who else sees it
- Polar (merchant of record): payment, invoices, taxes, file delivery. Polar privacy policy.
- Our email provider: to send login links and receipts.
- Meta: only if the pixel is enabled, as described above.
- Our hosting provider stores the database on a server in Europe.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax law requires, usually seven years. Login links expire after 20 minutes and are deleted. Briefs are deleted one year after the project ends or after we decline it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what we are not legally required to keep. Email hello@sonarisstore.com from the address on your account and we reply within 14 days.
Cookies
We set one cookie, the login session, when you log in. It is deleted when you log out or after 30 days. The Meta Pixel, if enabled, sets its own cookies.
